This will be the last post before winter break!

Reminder: You will have a BTB test the second week we come back from winter break.  Click  here for the set that is due Friday, 1/8/10.  This set has problems similar to the ones I will include on the test .  Do this set in ONE SITTING; you should give yourself 50 minutes to complete it.  You may use a calculator for any percent problems.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!  Enjoy a well-deserved break.

This will be the last post before winter break!

Due tomorrow: ACE questions 21-23 on page 41.

Over the winter break you may take home your BTB folder to prepare for the in-class BTB test that will happen the second week in January.

Please be sure to study for next Tuesday’s short test – refer to the previous TEST REVIEW post.

Due Tuesday:  ACE questions:  #32 on page 31 and #s 1 and 2 on page 38

Due Wednesday:  BTB #11

You will have a short test on next Tuesday, 12/15/09.  It will cover the concepts covered in Investigation 1 only.

-What is true about similar figures?  How are the corresponding parts related? How do perimeters and areas compare?

-Can you identify corresponding parts of similar figures?

-If you were given the dimensions of a rectangle, would you be able to draw two similar rectangles – one larger and one smaller than the original.  You would also need to explain why they are similar.

Review class notes, ACE questions and the math reflection on page 20.

Growing, Growing, Growing test #1 will be this Thursday.
