Here is part of riddle #2, “What’s In The Bag”

Verbal Clue:

1)  There are ten tiles.

2)  There are three colors.

3)  There are zero yellow tiles

4)  There are the same number of green and blue tiles.

5)  There are more red than green or blue tiles.

Due Friday: Given these 5 clues, please do the following:

a)  write the algebraic expressions or equations (don’t forget to define the variables).

b ) make a list of the possible color tiles in the bag

c) write a sixth clue so that the solution is 4 red, 3 green, 3 blue.  Try to use a fraction in the clue.

BTB also due on Friday.

1)  For tomorrow: In the Growing, Growing, Growing book, do ACE #1 on page 11 in your notebook.  You can use the link to the graphing calculator on the 8X page to check your equation for part 1C.

2)  Continue your project work (DUE NEXT TUESDAY)

You are in good shape if you have done the following:

-All calculations

-The table and graph

-Any research on wasting water and water availablity around the world?

-You have begun to write your article or newscast. If you are doing a newscast, did you interview anyone on their “water habits.” Please have me OK your script.
