My Name: Camila Rosa Alvarez

My Story: I used to have 4 siblings, but now I only have 3. I am originally from Spain. My family moved to Israel when I was 12 because my older brother got killed in the Spanish Inquisition. Once we got to Israel, my family and I started working for the stonemasons guild. After 3 of being an apprentice in the stonemasons guild, the Black Death broke out. Within 3 days of the warning sign from the doctors to stay indoors my farther got the plague. He survived for 4 days. We kept on having the doctors come, but each time after the doctors left he got weaker and weaker. He eventually died, but he still put up a fight. A couple months later my mother married a merchant named Isaiah Berkowitz. He was nice at first, but we then figured out that no one could replace our father. That’s when he started beating my siblings. It started with my brother when he came home from work one day.
