1. Hagan los ejercicios de vocabulario en Cuentos, las páginas 108 y 109, Parte I. A, B, C, D y II-frases/ in class, in Cuentos, do Part I, A, B, C & D and Part II (see translation & tense below) pp. 108-09.  Do sentences on looseleaf.

1. The lady came to borrow a pot and a frying pan. (pret.)
2. Yesterday I lent him a pound of sugar and a dozen onions. (pret.)
3. I can’t work and play at the same time. (pres.)
4. They delayed in returning the things to the owners. (pret.)
5. Yesterday I borrowed an iron pot. (pret.)
6. Being that you are staying at home, I’m leaving as soon as possible. (pres.)

Tarea:

1. Hagan la Parte D en Cuentos, p. 110/ do Part D on p. 110 of Cuentos on the same looseleaf as the sentences.  Do verbs in the present perfect (look back in Spanish Grammar on pp.78- 79) and preterite (pp.61-68)

En clase: Martes

SP8 (MM8 also even though no class after Monday)

1. Hagan todos los ejercicios del pretérito en Spanish Grammar pp. 61-68/ do all the preterite exercises in Spanish Grammar on pp. 61-68- go through ex. 74- 97

Tarea:

1. Finish/do the above exercises for Monday, Oct. 26th
