  • Devoirs 1 – Read p. 226. Answer questions p. 227 in full sentences
  • Devoirs – Write your French reflection and email to me at dlee@lrei.org. You should include STRENGTHS, CHALLENGES, GOALS & STRATEGIES TO ACHIEVE THOSE GOALS. The main skill areas of French are LISTENING, SPEAKING, READING & WRITING. Here is a reminder of the main work  this year:
  • Talking about your house and town – describing using adjectives – Model project
  • Giving Directions – video project
  • Conjugation – The present tense of regular and irregular verbs. The past tense – Passé Composé
  • French town project
  • & much more – look through the textbook - 

More SKILLS:

  • Vocab learning – memory, study skills
  • Focus, participation, 
  • time-management, 
  • speaking french outside the lesson

STRATEGIES

  • How exactly will you meet your challenges? You need to be realistic – dont just say “study harder” – say exactly what you will do – like “make flashcards, have someone test me, go to IWP etc…”

  • Devoirs – MOnday is the deadline for the project. You should be ready to present your website or pamphlet. You should present in French – talk about each of the aspects you wrote about – you only need to mention 1 point for each i.e one thing about the weather, one monument, 1 historical fact, 1 hotel you like, 1 thing you can do there etc…

  • Project due date – thurs. 13th may
  • Devoirs – Continue working on your project. You should be AT LEAST  TO THE HOTELS SECTION of  the written sentences by tomorrow. Make sure that  you  have them checked by me. Remember to use short, simple sentences. Check conjugation & adjective agreements. Use wordreference.com as a dictionary but make sure that you find the correct definition – words tend to have many different meanings. Remember that you will be presenting this project with the class – you will need to save time for checking pronunciation with me.
