Finish the factor practice worksheet (just the first side).  Be sure you try both methods – factor rainbows and factor pairs.  You can use this link to help make arrays to help you find factors.

Use the paper version or you can play online as a team against the computer (click the board below).

In your math notebook (with a proper heading),find all factors of 72 and of 110.

  • Space your work well on the page so it is neat and clear. Remember to write one digit per box.
  • Use the “factor rainbow” strategy to be sure you haven’t skipped any factors (connect each factors to its pair).
  • You should also use the divisibility rules recorded in your notebook.

Everyone now has a copy of “Prime Time” – a book full of questions about factors and multiples.  On page 10, we are answering questions about strategies for the factor game.  We’ll continue this work on Friday.
