Write up your solution (even if it is a partial solution) to the sea-plane problem.  What you hand in to me must show effort and care.  It must be neat, thorough, and clear.  Whatever notation you decide to use – drawings, labels, equations, etc – should be self-explanatory.  You must account for each plane’s distance and fuel at every step.  Use the notes we took in class to help you.
