Finish Pascal’s Triangle and fill in the blanks and the even numbers. Observe the pattern that emerges. Why does this work?
Complete a spreadsheet for your own fractal. The categories should be:
- Iteration
- Area of a single “piece”
- Number of pieces removed
- Area removed
- Total Area Remaining
When you have done this, you should hide the columns except for the first (iteration) and last (total area remaining) and graph the results.
Bring a PRINTED VERSION of the spreadsheet, the fractal, and the graph to class.
