  • Devoirs – Avoir & Etre – In preparation for learning the Passe Compose on Monday you need to review & learn off by heart the verbs avoir (to have) and etre (to be) including the subject pronouns (je, tu, il etc…) This is very basic but you must know it perfectly before we can proceed. Find the verbs in the back of your txtbk or online. Practice with  http://www.languagesonline.org.uk/ Francais – Grammar – Present tense – Ex. 9 Avoir & Etre

Wednesday, April 29

YOU DID IT! I want to acknowledge each of you for a fantastic Teach-In today! Through all the blood, sweat and (some) tears you pulled it off, making a dynamic mark on the middle school.  I have NO QUESTION that you inspired many of them today and you should be really proud of that.  Thank you for your hard work!

Okay – there’s been some confusion about the homework and it is because of the hectic stuff that has been going on (and that I forgot to post yesterday)!  The homework here is not new, actually many of you have already started or finish parts of it.  I have extended the due date for FDR by one day. But you can get it done now.

Here you go:

  • DUE THURSDAY  – based on the reading that you ALREADY DID, please answer the questions on chapters 19, 20, 21 that are listed on the handout that many of you have alredy started. TKAM Chapters 20 & 21.
  • DUE FRIDAY – FDR Chapter 6 finish reading the chapter and answer the questions for the rest of the chapter on the CH. 6 handout. FDR chapter 6.

Your test is on Thursday. Work on the pages in the Quiz practice packet that we began in class today. Please write a rough draft of the last page’s composition that you plan to do for the test and show it to me by the end of the day tomorrow or Wednesday morning so I can correct it for you. We will do listening comprehension practice tomorrow.
