Write an entry in your “journal” in response to the following questions. (We will begin the past tense next week and will revise these entries from the present tense to the past tense at that time.)  This is due on Thursday.  1. Qu’est-ce que tu fais pour les vacances?     2. Ou vas-tu?     3. A qui est-ce que tu  rends visite?     4. Quelle est une activite speciale que tu fais?      5. Qu’est-ce que tu n’aimes pas pendant les vacances?    You may look up individual words that are here or that you would like to put into your entry. However, I expect you to use the verbs that are in the questions when you are writing your paragraph and I will not accept any complex sentences in tenses that we have not yet studied. Translations will be given right back and will not be allowed to count for this assignment. This must be at your level and reflect time and thoughtfulness.

• En classe – Les repas – Livre de texte p. 71
• Devoirs pour mercredi – Livre de texte p.70 ex. 16 & 17 based on the menu “Lion d’Or”. Use complete sentences – check conjugation. Remember to write the date (in French) & exercise number – presentation matters!
• Jeudi – Presentation. Come in ready to share your dish and to present your information in French (that means rehearse – show enthusiasm, speak clearly, know the pronunciation  & point to illustrations, maps etc…)

• Read the packet from Milton Meltzer “Brother, Can You Spare A Dime?”
• Answer the questions on the handout.
• Remember: You ONLY need to provide THREE causes for the Great Depression.  Cross out d, e, f.

Due Wednesday:

•  Have the 9 poems that you wrote each on its own separate page and re-printed.
•  (Scroll the earlier blogs to check on the topics of those poems)
• Staple all your poems together.

Due Friday:

• A poem from your poetry anthology memorized and ready for recitation according the the guidelines of the poetry recitation rubric.

• 4 visits and 4 blog posts on the Sustainability Project website.
