Read the article “Finishing our Work” by Thomas Friedman of the New York Times.

Define the following words that appear in the article plus ANY OTHER WORDS that you do not understand.  You may write the definitions in small print in the margins of the article.  No need to waste another sheet.

MTV project due dates

Here are the due dates for the MTV final weeks

  • Thursday 12/4 Written exam on MTV project Here is the study guide
  • Wednesday 12/10 Testing speed vehicles in class. Both of your teams vehicles are required for this test.
  • Thursday 12/11 Testing of distance, all vehicles will be tested for distance.
  • Wednesday 12/17 Presentations due in class for final edit.
  • Thursday 12/18 Final Presentations due in class for viewing. Folders are due also.
  • These dates are final as we start a new unit after the Winter Break

Semaine du premier decembre

  1. Quiz de vocabulaire mercredi: p.59 Deuxieme etape   
  2. Un ete pas comme les autres (reading book)- Jeudi - Read Chapter 6 and hand in exercises A and B  
  3. Mon “Crib” project pour lundi 8 decembre ! 1-2mn video. Make sure you have:
  • Expressions to welcome the viewer
  • 5 rooms
  • 5 pieces of furniture using adjectives to describe them (check adjective agreements)
  • Directions / locations of the rooms and furnitureusing the expressions from the book ( a cote de / en face de etc…)
