Due Monday, Feb. 4 (the day of our Tenement Museum field trip!)
1. Bring a bag lunch and drink–no nuts! We will leave at 11:00 AM and come back at 1:30 PM or so.
2. Finish reading and highlighting the Four Readings on Tenement Life in the packet. Select 3 quotations to use in the letter due Tuesday. I suggest also writing the letter over the weekend. Rather than waiting to do the whole thing on Monday!
3. Begin planning and contacting organizations (see assignment due Thursday for details).
Due Tuesday, Feb. 5
Tenement Life Business Letter. Include at least three direct quotations from the readings in the packet. Your version should be longer than the example in the handout, and should include reflections on your observations from Monday’s field trip.
Due Thursday, Feb. 7
Print outs (or notes) of all contact you have made with sustainability organizations. Click here to get the business letter and phone call script we composed. If they need more information, you can answer them yourself or you can direct them to me by giving them my email address or phone number here at school. DO NOT LEAVE THIS UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE!
