WEEK: Dec/1 — Dec/5

HW Due: Monday, Dec/8

  • Poster for presentation should be completed.
    • You should divide the work equally with your partners.
    • A good strategy is to assign one section of the poster to each person in group and have it ready before the end of this week.  On Friday you can just spend a few minutes gluing it together.
  • Be ready to present on Monday. 
    • Make sure you know the information and don’t need to read it.
    • Practice explaining it to your parents or some other adult and get feedback on how to improve.
    • Practice with your group by calling each other and doing it over the phone if it’s too hard to meet.
  • Thermo-meter should be complete. 
    • Check the assessment handout given to make sure you have accomplished everything required.

EXTRA CREDIT

  • Science in the News– Prepare a 2-3 minute class presentation on a newspaper /magazine science article. Should be current.
