Cut out shapes and put them in either an envelope from home or one of your plastic sleeves.
You don’t need to cut exactly on the lines. Leave a small border around each shape. We’ll use them tomorrow

We talked about techniques for finding certain landmark percents today. The strategies are below:
100% - the number itself
50% - divide by 2
25% - divide by 4
10% - divide by 10 (move the decimal point one space to the left)
1% - divide by 100 (move the decimal point two spaces to the left)
We used these in combination with each other to get percents such as 11%, 26% and 150%
For homework, your worksheet asks you to find the following four percents. Show all your work neatly and completely.
1) 26% of 500
2) 85% of 240
3) 19% of 160
4) 240% of 36
