Skeletal Blog post

Our system protects the body by using bones to shield organs. Our system also supports the body as well as helping it move by holding it up with bones. We have found out that the skeletal system is split in two parts, the axial and the appendicular. We have also found out that there are two different types of skeleton, the endoskeleton and the exoskeleton. We would like to further investigate what would happen to humans if we all had exoskeletons. We think that humans would become very small and vulnerable and eventually go extinct.

I wonder if…

I wonder what would happen if all the humans disappear from earth. Well, I think that in the next 1 million years the earth would be like the moon.  I think that because all the animals would get no food and starve. Later, since that they will have no food they will be very hungry and try to either eat their own species or a different one. Also, humans have polluted the air. So in the long run the all the air will be polluted. That’s what I think would happen if all the humans disappeared from earth.

Every population has a limit!

Every species does not have unlimited amount of resources or room. 7 billion people live on earth and it is growing by the minute.  Now in China each family can only have one child. Why? Because there is NOT enough room to have so many people in China.  We played a game in school called shark tank. How to play is there are minnows, seaweed, and Sharks. The minnows had to eat 1  seaweed to survive, 2 to have a baby, the shark had to eat 2 minnows to survive, 4 to have a baby, and  if seaweed  didn’t get eaten they multiplied. But if any population got too big everyone died in the long run. This connects because if one species got to big and took up too much room or took too many resources everyone would die in the long run.

Big Bang video

Hi! My name is Xander! In science we did this project of the Big Bang. We were trying to recreate the Big Bang. We had a lot of time to work on it and we had limited resources. The goal was to make it as acurate as possible. Something that was acurate was it exploded like the Big Bang.  Something that wasn’t like the Big Bang was the Big Bang was sooooooooooooooo fast and ours was slow.
