Lunenburg

Every Summer I go to Canada usually it is Nova Scotia. Nova Scotia because both of my older brothers live there. This year went to a town called Lunenburg. It is small but very cute and we stayed in a house just outside the town. The house was around a lake which we were allowed to swim and sail in.The weather is a lot cooler in Canada the highs are in late 60’s and early 70’s so the water was a little chilly, but refreshing. The house was very old but I liked it and every one had a room in the house which was good. My brother Tom brought his cat Leo to the house but we were not sure he was allowed so when the owner of the house came to say hi we had to lock Leo in his room. We did a lot of things in Lunenburg; We swam like I said, we sailed, fished, camped, Explored water caves, went to the beach, and went shopping in the town. We left Lunenburg on a Saturday and then went to Halifax were we went horse back riding and I got a ukulele.

Caves

This summer I went to Nova Scotia, in this post I am not talking about the whole trip. I’m zooming in on the last day when I went to the Water Caves. It was a Friday and Me and my brothers went to the water caves. We went to a park were the caves were, but they didn’t just have caves. They had a petting zoo too; with goats, chickens and pigs. But we decided to go to the caves first. We walked up a trail that would lead to the water caves. we went into the first cave. We had to walk down a very steep flight of stairs with a sign above us that said: Watch for Falling Rocks which was a little freaky. When we went in the cave it felt like I steeped into Harry Potter. I looked exactly like what you would imagin the cave in the Half Blood Prince were the locket was hidden.  It was so magical but we werent standing in the cave we were standing on a platform looking down into the water but it was cool all the same. All the other caves looked like the first one but they were all beautiful.

Cuttyhunk Island

This summer in July I went to Cuttyhunk Island. Cuttyhunk Island is the outermost of the Elizabeth Islands in Massachusetts. We were there for four days; We go up every year with our friends; Well they invite us really. They stay on the island for two weeks, and they don’t know a lot of  people there so they invite friends up. When we were island we did quite a lot of things for four days. We went fishing, we went swimming, we went hiking, we went camping, we ate lobster, we watched a really creepy movie and a lot of other things that I forget. The house my friends rent has a deck, every meal of the day we would eat outside and watch the beautiful sun set. On the island we always have at Oysters which I love. Every year we have them just like every year at Cuttyhunk we have Lobster. I had a whole Lobster to myself because we had swordfish that night too and I don’t like swordfish very much. It is very warm during the day on Cuttyhunk but also very cold at night so the temperature is always all over the place. It was a really fun trip but when we were away my Grand Father got really sick and he lives in Canada so it would be hard to see him. So my Dad was getting stressed so when we left the island we were kind of glad to leave but when we were on the island we were having a lot of fun.

Here are some pictures of Cuttyhunk
