This was a part of the present for the school. We put everyones into one quilt.

 

 

 

We had to write something in the bubble that you think the person is thinking. This is a little girl that scrubs houses in the early 1900’s. Jacob Riis took the picture. Dan and Jen made the parents do this at the beginning of the year without knowing anything about it. It was funny seeing what my parents said.

My farm video was fun to make. It was more fun to be on the farm.

Field Day!

It was so fun! Some people died there hair orange!

I made the song.

I chose Pluto because it was really fun to make the video. It was a video made by Matias, Finn, and me. I also chose the book because we read Wonder and the extra Julian chapter in class so I thought it would be good to read the next part.

I also chose to put in my review for George Washington’s Socks: A Time Travel Adventure because I love time travel. When I look back at my first book review, I realized this one was so much better. The writing is more clear than my first book review. At the end of the year, I read another time travel book by the same writer. It was called The Orphan of Ellis Island. It was good.

 

 

 

The bottom picture is from the beginning of the year and the top picture is from the end of the year. For some reason I didn’t write Asia on my old map. I also made the North Pole much bigger on the old map. My map from the end of the year is much more clear.

 

 

The teachers put mini sentences all over the class over a two week period in September. Then we had to put the sentences into a poem. Some of this poem was part of our the rap in the play.
