Vocal majors post number 2

One of my main goals is to learn the alto part for jubilate alleluia. I want to work on that and make it better. I think some of the alto notes are really hard for us while we sing with the sapranos. This is the main thing I want to work on in vocal majors. I also want to work on reading music. I like to sing a lot so I need to know how to read music. Overall vocal majors has been really fun and cool.

Spanish Skit Video

My group for the skit was Stella and Meadow. We worked really well together. We all participated and made sure we were always on the same page.We completed our skit, our skit was really good, We messed up a little bit in the video though.  our performance was good until one part where one of my group mates forgot what to say. we improvised and figured it out. the whole performance was super fun. We could practice even more for next time so that we wouldn’t mess up as much. We could also have more neat and clear notecards, that was my fault. Overall it was fun and we worked really well together.

My Math Profile

Math has always been a challenge for me. Math is something I have been working on. Something that I’m working on in math is participation. I feel like I’m often scared to raise my hand because I’m nervous I will be wrong. I remember in first or second grade when math started to become a big challenge for me. I like learning math because math is everywhere. I know when I get older math will be extremely important. I dislike learning math because it is challenging, stressful, frustrating and complicated. I know sometimes a challenge is good for your brain but when it gets to the point where I don’t understand what’s happening it becomes unenjoyable. I feel that in the past I have not been a great math student because I gave up when it was too hard. This year I am going to try to not give up even if it is challenging. When I get stuck doing homework I usually re-read the problem over and over again. When that doesn’t help I try to solve the problem a completely different way and usually that helps me. Math is not my easiest subject but I will work on it to get better.

Art value chart

The technique I just finished is called stippling, which is a bunch of dots. You start with a lot and then fade to just a few. The technique I am about to start is random marks. It can be anything, hearts, shapes, letters, words. It starts with a lot and ends with just a few of those random marks you picked. I decided to do circles. It looks cool, it looks like it is a wave of circles being pushed until there is only two or three left.
