Blog Entry #1
During the first week of my senior project, I went through step by step video tutorials about Excel’s functions. I learned all of the basic properties of the app, including shortcuts and key functions. Since this app is new to me, everything seems super random, so these exercises made me feel grounded and comfortable with Excel. Keep in mind, this app is very complex, so it will take me a while to get very comfortable with it. Coursera, the website where I’m taking these classes, also makes their students take quizzes so that the material is fully understood. The key concepts I have learned so far include data entry, data types, and editing and deleting.

At the end of this week’s classes, I took an assessment in which I passed with a 93.33%.
