Comparative: You might look at learning, and compare the learning you are doing in Senior Project with learning experiences you have had elsewhere, whether in or out of a classroom, at LREI or elsewhere. You could also compare the ideas — for example, how does your internship in business compare with ideas learned in Tom’s economics class? 

Spreadsheet software is used in workplaces across the world. Learning to confidently operate within Excel can add a highly valuable asset to one’s portfolio. At a time in our lives when digital skill jobs are growing much faster than non-digital jobs, learning Excel skills can help one advance their employment portfolio. 

While working on Excel classes, I had a moment where I realized everyone should take these classes. Managing your personal finance is a skill everyone needs to have.  Personal finance skills help you to understand how much you earn, what are your monthly expenses, and help you to budget within that income. By tracking your budgeting, spending, and saving, you can plan for future events.

This six week period has allowed me to learn a subject that’s not available in most high schools/colleges. Many people are self-taught, but if we can prevent the number of people who are taught by classes and quizzes, excel will become engraved in your brain. My dad, who is self-taught, makes mistakes that will cost him countless hours of unnecessary stress. By knowing the concepts of Excel, I am able to locate mistakes and prevent them from happening.
