This week I started by cooking with ingredients from local farmers from the farmers market. One new food to me was lions mane mushrooms.
Then I began my foraging. To start I explored the land taking pictures of all the new plants I saw that I thought might be edible. I did not pick anything this time around. I then used PictureThis to identify all the plants I had seen.
Partridge berries, Hairy bittercress, Ramp, Garlic mustard
With this information, I gathered partridge berries and made jam. It was good.
