Pierre’s Third Blog Post

This week I worked on completing a timesheet for a fake employee. I was given the info shown in the picture below. In this picture, as you can see, this person worked 8 hours and 3 days with overtime hours. I needed to plug in all of the days that this person worked, which was every day beside the weekends. Once I did this, I calculated their regular pay by multiplying the hourly rate by the regular hours. I then calculated the overtime pay by using the equation (=D5*$G$4). The money signs before the G and 4 tell the computer to lock that cell. By locking this cell, my calculation for D6 will not be aligned with G5. Since G5 is locked, D6 will be multiplied by G5 allowing for an efficient spreadsheet. After performing all of my calculations which were ones I had learned throughout the week, I needed to present my most recent skill, which was making my data presentable.
