So far I have done a lot of just research preparing myself for this project. A lot of the preparation was initially done for my original project (cooking with my grandma) but because of COVID-19 I have changed to cooking and interview family and family friends. Through my research I have tried to come up with questions that I can ask interviewers.

I also cooked my mom’s version of fried rice (炒饭) and found some videos about it. For many of the foods I cook, I find a lot of videos online of other people cooking them and it is interesting to find a variety of ways to cook recipes I am familiar with.
